French Open Fanview

Another day at the French Open has come and gone so here are some more images.

Nothing like courtside massages:

That's Caroline Wozniacki with the back trouble. Below is the woman who benefited from the injury, Sorana Cirstea:

This is Caroline when she's playing:

The clay really forces players such as Dominika Cibulkova to stretch for shots:

Michelle Larcher de Brito, who apparently shrieks louder than Sharapova and Seles combined, shows her athleticism:

Ana Ivanovic didn't play Saturday but here's a photo anyway:

Ditto for Sharapova:

Oh, we love sportsmanship around here:

NBA Playoff Dancers

With the expulsion of the Denver Nuggets tonight, we thought we'd do a farewell posting of some Nuggets dancers because you won't be seeing them again until next year.

This angle is pleasing:

This one's got a Kim Kardashian thing goin' on:

And here's a Cavs dancer just for the hell of it:

That Championship Feeling

We said it on Twitter and elsewhere, but tonight's effort by the Lakers is how a champion is supposed to play.

The French Open is well underway so here are a few photos from the day's action.

This blond is Victoria Azarenka of Belarus:

And a little Ana Ivanovic never hurts:

Cavalier Girls

Of the four teams left in the NBA playoffs, it makes sense that Cleveland would probably produce the least hottest women in a race with Los Angeles, Denver and Orlando. And after viewing SI.com most recent gallery in its travels around the NBA, the Cavaliers' dancers certainly live up to that expectation. Very disappointing. If you want to view the full gallery, click this link.

In that same vein, I was highly disappointed with SI.com's cheerleader of the week. Shelly from Texas leaves a little to be desired. I didn't even want to do a separate post on her, so if you want to see the gallery, click here. I thought they could've come up with something much better in Texas.

Lakers Show Some Grit

I'm glad the Lakers won, but I just had to post this photo. It's when Kobe was fouled Carmelo Anthony on his way to the basket. Anthony soon came over to see if Kobe was OK, but from the looks of it, I don't think 'Melo was exactly going for the ball.

'Three Wolf Moon T-shirt'

No, this isn't the answer to Three Dog Night. Rather, it's one of the latest Internet memes to have overtaken web circles over the last several months. What makes it great is it's ridiculousness and the sense of humor required to appreciate it. It's probably one of those things that you'll either get or you won't. Basically, it has to do with a T-shirt that is selling on Amazon.com, but more to the point the reviews the shirt has been getting. Quite a viral scheme going on here. Please do yourself a favor and read the comments on Amazon to get an understanding of what we have on our hands here. It has created such a stir that articles have been written by the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the Chicago Tribune. It even inspired the video below, but I urge you to read about this phenomenon first before viewing the video as you will appreciate it more.

Grid Girl Photos O' Week

It was a big weekend of racing. We had the Indy 500, the Coca-Cola 600 and the Monaco Grand Prix from that principality in Europe. Anyway, here is an international potpourri of photos from those races, not necessarily grid girls in the truest sense, but we can make an exception in this case.

'The Uncler' Does 'The Wrestler'

Here's a funny parody of the movie "The Wrestler" that starred Mickey Rourke. This one features one of our favorites around here, Alyssa Milano, who is playing the role that Marisa Tomei played in the real movie. If you've seen the movie (or at least the trailer), then I think you'll appreciate it.

Here's the real trailer:

Porrista Pic O' The Day

Normally we reserve this feature for at least four or five photos from the events unfolding in Mexico. But in this case, we've made the administrative decision to feature this Pachuca porrista all on her own. We think she's deserving. We hope you agree.

John Mayberry Silent Treatment

Not sure how long this has been going on, but I get a kick out of it when some rookie hits a home run and he gets the silent treatment from his teammates after he makes his way back to the dugout after rounding the bases. The latest one to endure this rite of passage was John Mayberry Jr. (yes, he's the son of John Mayberry, who had a 15-year career with the Astros, Royals, Blue Jays and Yankees), who homered for the Phillies in Saturday's game against the Yankees. Even Manager Charlie Manuel was in on it. Classic.

Things You Never Hear

Watch the video below, get through the opening ad and the closing ad and the stuff in the middle is pretty funny.

Kobe, Bubba And Tommy

Watching Kobe Bryant perform on the court in the fourth quarter of Game 3 against Denver was a thing of beauty. Kobe made an interesting face after he made a clutch three-pointer against J.R. Smith late in the game. Reminded me of someone. Here are a few photos of the look that I took with my cellphone camera off TV.

"Look of determination" as Mike Breen said on ESPN.

More of the same:

Does he remind you of anyone?

This is who I thought of -- Benjamin Buford Blue or "Bubba" as actor Mykelti Williamson was nicknamed in the Oscar-winning movie "Forrest Gump."

My brother thought Kobe's look reminded him of someone else I know -- my dog Tommy, who has an underbite that will melt your heart. Don't you think?

Here's video of Kobe's shot:

NBA Playoff Dancers

As we get down to the nitty-gritty of the NBA playoffs, the pickins' of NBA dancer photos tends to be slimmer with each passing round. Still, in the spirit of seeing something through, we will continue to bring you any developments. At least the Lakers are still alive.

Porrista Pics O' The Day

Here are the latest porrista pictures from south of the border, including two of our favorite Corona girl (or at least my favorite).

Shawn Johnson Is A Winner

This week it was Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson who won the latest version of "Dancing With The Stars" and it figured that her gymnastics background helped. Johnson became the youngest (17) competitor to win the title on the show. There's something about this photo that's wrong and right at the same time.

Since her DWTS victory, Shawn has been making the rounds, most recently jumping into a race car during practice for the Coca-Cola 600. Here are a few photos from that event.

Slipping out of her fire suit:
