Say It Ain't Sammy Sosa

Though we certainly weren't naive enough to think otherwise. Apparently this baseball fan with the sign had it right in 2003 when this photo was taken because the New York Times reported today what many had long suspected -- that Sammy Sosa used performance-enhancing drugs. Sosa apparently is on that same list of 104 players that included Alex Rodriguez and was part of the focus on the book by Selena Roberts. Although the whispers were always there, it's still disappointing to get the news on Sosa because of his likability and the way he was the perfect complement to Mark McGwire during the magical 1998 season. What a shame.
