Stacy Johnson-Klein Resurfaces

Anyone remember Stacy Johnson-Klein? She was the former Fresno State women's basketball coach, who also happened to be one of the most easy on the eyes women in all of female basketball. Johnson-Klein won a $9 million settlement last month from the school for sex discrimination. On Friday, she will be introduced as the general manager of the Oklahoma Cavalry, the defending champion of the Continental Basketball Assn. That's a team of male players by the way. I'm sure Johnson-Klein will grab their attention the first time she walks into the lockerroom for an inspirational speech. Incidentally, Johnson, who is from Oklahoma, has an interesting contract. First off, her lawyer said she will be paid "six figures," which for a minor league operation is saying something. Part of her contract also includes writing a book, and she said she expects to close a movie deal soon to tell the story of her life, beginning with her childhood in rural Oklahoma. "I’m a very strong woman, and I’ve been hired by great owners to work in a solid city that I love," she said in an interview with the Associated Press. "I’m going to do my best to break down any barriers that there could be and continue to build our sport." Should be interesting.
