Ashley Harkleroad To Playboy

With the French Open in full swing, I went searching for a Tennis Hottie O' The Day shot and actually came upon this story about American player Ashley Harkleroad, who lost her first-round match at Roland Garros to Serena Williams and used part of her post-match news conference to announce that she had inked a deal to pose in the August issue of Playboy. Many blogs have taken notice already as to be expected. Although I had heard of Ashley before, I'm sure most casual tennis fans had not, considering that she has never won a tournament and only has reached a ranking as high as No. 39 in her career. While she's not a drop-dead beauty, it will be interesting to see what Playboy does with her. Stay tuned.
