Hawaii Football And The Haka

Hawaii's football team is currently getting its ass handed to it in the Sugar Bowl by Georgia, but here is a little piece by ESPN on the team's Haka Dance made famous by New Zealand's national rugby team called the All-Blacks (although Hawaii's version has evolved with Hawaiian words added and the dance actually called the Ha'a). The dance has caused some controversy because it has been misinterpreted by some opponents as a taunt, rather than a cultural expression. Earlier this season, Hawaii was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct at Louisiana Tech for performing the dance before the game.
