High-Profile BOW
UPDATE: I'm sure you've already heard by now that Horry was suspended two games for the foul and a punch to Raja Bell's face and the Suns' Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw were suspended for tonight's game for leaving the bench during the altercation. The NBA really dropped the ball on this one I think, penalizing the Suns for something that wasn't nearly as egregious as what Horry did.
This one is gonna result in costly suspensions considering the nature of the foul and when it happened (with about 20 seconds left in the game). The offender was Robert Horry and the victim was reigning MVP Steve Nash. You've probably seen it by now, but here it is anyway:
Then you got a-holes like Shaq "commentating" during the TNT studio show things like "he didn't him 'em that hard, did he?" ... Hmm, wonder if he'd feel the same way if Horry had done that to Dwyane Wade. Here's another video of the incident in real-time. Just the way Horry callously walks away immediately after the cheap shot convinces me there were BOW motives at work here:
Here is a post-game interview with Nash, who handles the questions about the cheap shot gracefully:
But isn't THIS the way we Lakers fans want to remember a guy like Horry?

If merely leaving the bench, not even getting involved in the scuffle, drew one game suspensions for the Suns players, then Horry should have received alot more than two games for what he did. I like Horry, but damn what he did was pretty freakin stupid.
